The Year of the Tiger unveils another year filled with the rising spirits of the ferocious tiger. Resolutions are made, and businesses are expected to undergo turbulent storms before it will flourish underneath the troubled times.
Year in, year end, it was the same old expectation. One must work harder to attain greater benefits in life. And one must never back down when a hurdle comes in the way. Life revolved around work, and acquiring success.
Is there nothing else to life than this?A faint murmur came from a distance ...
“No matter what you've done for yourself or for humanity, if you can't look back on having given love and attention to your own family, what have you really accomplished?”
- Elbert Hubbard
One only needs to pick up the cell phone and dial a number to reconnect the linkages that were lost throughout the passages of time.
Therefore during the Spring Festival, I chose to embody the spirit of the Tiger and spend it entirely with my family, instead of work and personal gains. A part of me was rediscovered and the overall experience was overwhelming.
Meanwhile, these shoes shall remain a memory that other things do matter and are worth more than life itself.
Family, love and warmth.
