Dancing with the Fairies

I am on occasion a barefoot kinda gal, often found in hiking boots, or flip flops. These particular ones were bought, who knows where, on a whim. I liked them. They are my favourite colour - blue. And they sparkled! I am not your typical blingful girly-girl, but every now and again she yearns for some freedom, and out she pops. I wish I could walk in heels.
I wish I could put on make-up like a pro, though probably wouldn't wear it any more than I do now, which is once in a blue moon. I never wore jewellery until I started to make it myself, and I am lucky to brush my hair before leaving the house! These flip flops suit and serve me well. They are a reminder of the spirited young woman i once was, while appreciating the slip on, easy going personality that I have earned.
They reflect my inner playfulness, and somehow make me feel magical, and like dancing with the fairies (me and my little girl do that a lot). Life sometimes can bring you down. These shoes remind me of the inner Kelly, whimsical and light, and inspire me to be the me that is sometimes forgotten.
Which reminds me, gonna go slip them on, grab my little girl, and join the fairies...feel free to join us if you like...
