Dear friends and family,
Glenn and I are planning a fundraiser to help take Spencer to Kelowna, B.C. this summer for a two week intensive therapy program. The therapy was developed by a Russian woman who now lives and operates a clinic in Poland.
The therapy is called MNRI and all the information can be found at www.masgutovamethod.com. Click under 'Family Conferences' to get specific info. about the Kelowna trip.
The cost of the therapy is $1000.00/day for 10 days plus airfare, accommodations etc. MNRI has been very successful with kids who have cerebral palsy. We had the opportunity to meet Svetlana Masgutova a few weeks ago in Guelph where she assessed Spencer and gave us a few exercises to do daily. We have seen some small gains in two weeks already which is why we feel the need to make the trip to Kelowna. Imagine the possibilities!!!
In order for us to make the trek, we are requesting help from everyone we know to attend our fundraiser. If you can't come, any donation you can make would be greatly appreciated.
We are planning a dinner/dance on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Le Dome banquet hall in Oakville. The cost is $100.00 per adult and $50.00 per child which includes dinner, drinks, dancing and prizes. Tickets will be available in the coming days with all the necessary details.
